Should you upgrade to Windows Vista and what to know if you do.
With the release of Microsoft's Windows Vista system it may seem like a necessary upgrade. While in some cases it is a good idea to upgrade, in others it can cause some compatibility problems.
Here at Divine Tech we have been busy testing this new operating system since its infancy. We were part of Microsoft’s Connect program; they sent us discs of the latest versions of Windows Vista. Like any new operating system, there are certain requirements that must be met in order to run the os (Operating System) at its full potential. If you are a casual computer person who enjoys surfing the web and checking email you may want to hold off on Vista.
If you have an extremely expensive computer and play all the latest games then vista might be for you, vista supports the new Direct X10. With DX10 comes better graphics, physics and load times but at the cost of a expensive, top-of-line, computer.
If you are like most people though and have an average 500-1000 computer you may want to stick with Windows XP for it offers better stability and less driver/compatibility issues.
However, if you would like to upgrade to Vista then contact us today and we can get you on the right step with our upgrading program. We can transfer all of your data, settings and other configuration files.
